Becoming a Member
We're a friendly bunch here at Droylsden Little Theatre, and there are plenty of jobs to keep all our members occupied. If you want to have a go a treading the boards, that's great, but if performing isn't for you, there's still lots to do, for example:
- Production Team - There's a lot of work behind the scenes when putting together a production; there's Props, Continuity, the Stage Manager, Lighting and Sound. If you've not done this before, don't worry, we can show you what to do.
- Set Building - Fans of makeover shows: this is for you! Our sets can range from Dr. Frankenstein's Gothic castle, to the Prime Minister's office at No. 10. If you know how to use a paint brush, you'll be very welcome.
- Front of House - This is a great way of meeting our audiences, and finding out what they really think. Each performance requires a House Manager, bar staff, and raffle ticket sellers.
- Fundraising - A Fundraising Team is a vital for any charity, and here at DLT our fundraisers organise many enjoyable social events that help to keep us afloat.
Membership fees are £10.00 per year for employed adults, and £6.00 per year for children, the unwaged, and those in full time education.
